I help people and places move toward resilience: from local food and trees, to open digital infrastructure, to gentle spiritual support.

My work weaves together land, technology, and community. Here are a few threads that matter most to me right now.

Lyis Forestry – Tree nursery, edible landscapes, and long-lived perennial systems.
LiberIT – Open-source servers, local-first infrastructure, and digital independence.
Writing and teaching – Narrative non-fiction, land and housing advocacy, and spiritual care.
Community projects – Greenhouses, maker tools, and practical pathways toward a post-fossil world.

I live in Owen Sound, Ontario and work mostly with people and communities in Grey-Bruce and across Canada.
